Why use a topical vs an ingestible?

Topical CBD means applying CBD in the form of a cream or carrier oil, allowing the active cannabinoids to enter the skin via the epidermis and pores. Our skin features cannabinoid receptors in almost every cell type, so the effect and relief is nearly immediate. Using CBD orally, sublingually or ingested, provides longer term relief, however, you must wait for the cannabinoids to enter your bloodstream before relief is experienced.
