🌱 A Joyful New Dawn
Here in the rolling embrace of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Franny’s Farm is singing a song of resilience and rebirth. After the wild winds and waters of Hurricane Helene tried to dim our light, we’re rising—stronger, brighter, and bursting with purpose. The heart of our farm beats with joy as we introduce Franny’s Farmacy Botanical Division, a love-soaked venture dedicated to the pure, THC-free healing power of plants. And at the core of this vision are our Chakra Gardens, where every herb is grown with intention to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.
For over 25 years, I’ve danced through Asheville’s vibrant community—teaching, coaching, and celebrating at LEAF Festival. I left a pharmaceutical career (and those “hippie in high heels” days, as FOX called them) to return to the land, because deep in my bones, I knew the truth: “After over a decade in pharmaceuticals, I too believed that only plants can heal and that Big Business, aka the pharmaceutical industry, is invested in ‘unhealthcare,’” I say with a spark in my eye. The land called me home, and Franny’s Farm became a haven—a place of Farm Camp, Goat Yoga, and community connection. Now, with our Botanical Division, we’re sharing that healing magic far and wide.
🌿 The Chakra Gardens: Where Healing Grows
Step into our Chakra Gardens, where the air hums with life and every plant is a partner in wellness. These sacred plots at Franny’s Farm are dedicated to growing herbs for our Chakra Tea line—seven blends, each crafted to balance a specific energy center. From the grounding “I AM” Root Chakra Tea, with roasted yerba mate and ashwagandha, to the soothing “I KNOW” Crown Chakra Tea, with peppermint and lavender, every sip is a ritual of reconnection. These aren’t just teas; they’re invitations to pause, breathe, and align with the Earth’s rhythm. Grown without THC, our blends harness the raw, real power of botanicals—because healing doesn’t need a buzz, just a root.
Our gardens are more than soil and stems; they’re a testament to resilience. When Helene’s floods swept through, we replanted. When our flagship Franny’s Farmacy store faced near-total loss with only 5% insurance coverage, we rebuilt. We sold half the farm to regenerative farmers, consolidating our focus on two properties where our Chakra Gardens now thrive. This is our love letter to the land and to you—a promise that from every challenge, new growth emerges.
🌍 A Plea for the Land, Our Lifeline
Dr. Zach Bush, a visionary in regenerative medicine, once said, “The soil is the source of all life, and from it comes our capacity to heal.” His words echo what we’ve always known at Franny’s Farm: all healing comes from the land. Our bodies, our breath, our very existence are intertwined with the Earth’s magnificence. We breathe each other—this beautiful, living world and our own sacred selves—dancing a song of life that keeps us thriving. So I make a plea: care for the land as you care for yourself. Tend the soil, plant a seed, or simply walk barefoot on the grass. We’re dependent on each other, and in this dance, we find wholeness.
💚 Franny’s Farmacy Botanical Division: Pure Plant Power
Franny’s Farmacy Botanical Division is a woman-led celebration of plant medicine, rooted in the Blue Ridge and reaching for the stars. Our Chakra Tea line, born from the Chakra Gardens, is crafted with locally grown or sourced herbs, blended with ancient wisdom and modern care. No THC, no gimmicks—just real plants for real healing. As the “hippie in high heels” who returned to the land, I’ve learned we each hold all we need to heal ourselves. These teas are tools to unlock that inner knowing, sip by sip.
🌟 Join the Dance
Come visit our three retail locations in the Asheville area, where you can taste the joy of our Chakra Teas and feel the pulse of our survive-and-thrive story. Let’s care for the land, breathe each other’s magnificence, and dance this life together. As Rumi reminds us, “Dance, when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.”
With dirt-stained hands and a heart full of joy,
Franny Tacy
